Free to be means to me. I can live my life the way I want to with my disabities to. And I dont care what people think about me.
Legal Cases...
Being free means be able to persue dreams and passions without barriers. Being free to beans accepting who you are and knowing whenhelp may become necessary for you to Succeed, knowing when to ask for it will free you further. Knowing who you are will free you the most. You are competely free when peace has rule you.
Technology...
What free to be means to me... it means that you can do what ever you want, say whatever you want and even act however you want without any consequence happen to you? Free to be can also mean you can go wherever you want and have fun with what you are doing.
Entrepreneur...
Those of us who are living with a disability must learn to think outside the box when exploring career options. People often think that having a job means going to a place of business and working for someone from 9am until 5pm. I am here to let you know that is not always true.
Volunteering...
Volunteerism could give a better idea of what you want to pursue as a career. For example; say you want to be a computer person but you don't know what expertise you need. By volunteering you can explore that expertise and it may spark your interest for purpose of pursuit.
Bridging the Gap...
The most important way for a person to bridge the gap into the workforce is to be prepared. This will involve identifying the skills you have that can be brought into the workplace and the type of environment that have the least impact on your disability.
Work/Life Balance...
Personally, just saying "Free to Be" creates an instant uprising within me. I feel more freedom because those three tiny words, when strung together, make an enormous impact on my spirit. I love how "Free to Be" is open ended. This statement does not confine us with a label. We are free to be whoever, whatever and however we want.

Myth - Providing accommodations of people with mobility
impairments is expensive.
Fact - The overwhelming majority of accommodations for people with
physical disabilities (over 80%) cost less then $500. Many, such as
removing clutter from hallways or raising desks on blocks, cost
nothing.
